Anjo Kolk
Internationally Recognized Oracle Performance Analysis Expert
Anjo is the founder of Oracle performance analysis website oraperf.com. Prior to the introduction of oraperf.com, Anjo was Chief Oracle Technologist with Veritas Software Application Performance Management Products. Before joining Veritas, he worked at Oracle Corporation for over 16 years, mostly in the RDBMS Performance and Oracle Parallel Server areas. During those years he lived and worked in the Netherlands, Ireland, Japan and the USA while working with many large Oracle-based customers to improve the performance of their systems and implementations. While working on these varied performance issues, Anjo developed a still popular tuning methodology referred to as "Yet Another Performance Profiling" method (YAPP). The YAPP method proposes that Oracle systems be tuned based on the quality of Oracle service delivery (i.e. response times). Anjo has also taught Oracle internals classes all over the world and is the author of the well known "Oracle7 Wait Events and Enqueues" white paper. Many authors of Oracle tuning books make reference to this white paper and the oraperf.com website. Anjo is also a founding member of the OakTable network, a group of renowned Oracle scientists.
Dr. Jeffrey P. Buzen
Internationally Recognized Performance Analysis Expert
Jeff Buzen is a leading industry analyst and speaker and is perhaps best known as Chief Scientist and Co-Founder of BGS Systems, which was sold to BMC. He was the original architect of the BEST/1 product family. Jeff has also served as President of the Computer Measurement Group (CMG), a not-for-profit worldwide organization of data processing professionals committed to the measurement and management of computer systems. He has been actively involved in the analysis of system performance since the 1960s, and has received several honors for his work including the 1978 A.A. Michelson Award.
Dr. Claudia Imhoff

Claudia Imhoff is President of Intelligent Solutions, which provides data management consulting, education and literature to business and government organizations worldwide. A thought leader, visionary and practitioner in the rapidly growing fields of business intelligence and customer focused-strategy, Claudia is a popular and dynamic speaker and internationally recognized expert on analytical CRM, business intelligence, and the infrastructure to support these initiatives. She has co-authored five highly regarded and popular books on these subjects and writes monthly columns for technical and business magazines. Claudia has served on the Board of Advisors for DAMA International and was chosen by the DAMA organizations to receive the 1999 Individual Achievement Award. She is an advisor and a faculty member for The Data Warehousing Institute and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver.

Dan Kaberon is Director of Computer Resource Management at the global human resources services firm Hewitt Associates LLC. He is a member of two IBM customer councils, and has frequently presented at SHARE and CMG. Hewitt Associates is a global human resources outsourcing and consulting firm with more than 15,000 associates worldwide. Hewitt serves its clients from offices in 38 countries. Dan manages teams responsible for a wide range of systems infrastructure and systems management for Hewitt's worldwide operations.
