BEZ Systems Appoints Atif Majid Director of Engineering
BOSTON, August 17, 2004 - BEZ Systems has appointed experienced software development executive Atif Majid as Director of Engineering to oversee the continued development of the company's Predictive Performance Management (PPM) software technology.
Majid is a veteran software engineer and a talented architect with extensive experience in software design and development. He joined BEZ from EMC Corporation, where he worked on the development of a storage resource management application that enabled companies to efficiently monitor and manage their storage infrastructure. Majid started this product while he was with Astrum Software, which was later acquired by EMC.
Prior to Astrum Software, he was a software architect for Exchange Applications, where he contributed to the architecture, design and development of the company's next-generation product that involved the development of a real-time, rules-based recommendation engine and offer delivery system. Majid's career history also includes development of applications for the banking sector, and he has held several positions in the technical and management arenas. He has an MS degree in Computer Science from University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
